I would look for location, pricing, and ownership. You want someone who values all level teams equally, (not just the level 5's), so you can ensure your child gets attention even when young and starting out. Also, I would look for a gym that does not tolerate negativity. It can be toxic. A bunch of cheer moms in a small room...rules to diffuse the gossip and negativity are necessary. :)
