OT Trip To Southern California

So my family wants to take a trip to SoCal and we can't decide on what we all want to do. I want to experience Hollywood/Downtown LA, Beverly Hills and that area. I want to see the stars and go to the Chinese Theater and see the Walk of Fame. Are there any other ideas that would be appealing to a family? It's my dad, mom, brother and I.

That's interesting but seeing stars is rare... The beaches are fun... Disneyland if course..we have a little bit of everything... Universal is really fun... You might see someone famous at the grove..:)

Thanks! I know it's rare but one can hope :P Disney isn't really anything new since we're about 2 hours away from Orlando.

in my experience, seeing those touristy sights isn't very exciting. Its all very, disney fake to me.
