Being the ICE president, maybe you should've just clarified and set the rumor straight, not attack a random post with legal action.

Reminds me of another board that I moderated and people come on and claim that they are going to sue when people post rumors and negative opinions. Goodluck with that because nothing illegal was done. Congrats on just looking like a meanie.

Hello to whomever is involved. This is Jimmys mother. I apologize for any trouble he may have caused, I assure you he meant no harm. He is my very out going, harmless, autistic child and has found all star-cheer as his outlet for the past 3 years. He begged me to allow him to get a fierceboard account and I finally caved. I should have researched it better as he has now been upstairs crying because he thinks the FBI is going to show up at our door. I do not know how to do so but if someone can please deactivate his account I would greatly appreciate it. Again, I am sorry.

I'm so glad to hear he's found All-Star cheer as his outlet! It's such a rewarding experience to everyone involved. I hope he continues to love it as much as we do! And no worries and NO TROUBLE! People question and post rumors all the time for clarification.

Getting back on topic - I have not heard any mention of UA buying ICE. UA will be opening up their own, separate location in the West Suburbs of Chicago. The location has yet to be announced and we are all anxiously awaiting to hear where as we're hoping the announcement will be made very shortly!

Good luck to you on your new location!! There are some great gyms in Illinois like UA, ICE, and Cheer Command who continue to grow and get better every year. It is great to see the midwest get stronger!! Would love to see you all merge at some point and make Illinois a force at worlds. Congrats!!

Please remove this thread. This is not the place for people to post rumors. ICE has nothing to do with ICC and is not going out of business! Seems rumors are always starting from the same places. There was nothing damaging about the post and you are taking it way more seriously then it really is. Threatening legal action was wrong to do and just all around silly. Any lawyer is going to laugh because there was no slander or defamation in the post therefore there is no need for me it to be removed. If you think that the Fierceboard is not a place for people to find answers to rumors I am afraid you have found the wrong forum to participate in and read.

As this is asked by a question, not stated as fact it is not slander. It is a public message board and you cannot control what is posted on the board. If you had answered the question instead of getting all huffy people would be less likely to believe it.

Actually, the funny thing is if I remove the thread people are MORE likely to believe it. So, in an effort to help you out, I will close the thread, but leave your answer up.

And as of midnight tonight you will be banned from the board forever for threatening legal action against it. I am considering banning all the people from your gym as well.
