The kids loved that thing. I never got on it, but they kept making snaps all day long to try to get added to UCA's Snap Chat story.

I've always wondered how individual users could get their snap selected for the universal snap story, like are you suppose to send it directly to Snapchat or does Snapchat have access to every snap every person has made? I hope it's not the latter because that would be really creepy......

There was a snap video of a girl from Orange tumbling towards the camera, whose reaction when she completed her pass, I absolutely loved..... but it was removed from the UCA snap story shortly after.

Not sure either. The kids weren't either but they had fun trying. Saw one kid from our gym get on there. Not sure how.

I read somewhere that you submit the Snap for consideration and from the submissions they select which ones to present.

I got one on the South Carolina/UGA college football featured story this year. Basically when you're in the area it becomes an option to submit it to, like under your friends list. I believe it appears right under "My Story" as if you were going to add it there. The first time you submit one it gives you a little pop up to agree to, saying you give them permission to publish it if selected. You don't get any kind of notification if yours gets put on. I had just added it to my personal story as well, and then people saw it on the featured story and texted me about it.

I think I submitted about 50 different ones that day, haha.

Is there a spreadsheet for UCA like the one done for Cheersport Nationals that lists Worlds division, final scores, bids awarded, etc? Or does anyone have final scores for world division teams?

The first Youth 5 team of the day (Youth Elite) goes on at 5:45. And from what I am hearing through CP, everyone should watch... Going to be an interesting afternoon.

I was waiting for it, but they didn't do it. Oh well. Would have been some jaws on the floor if they had.

we lost by .01 (so I hear) so I'm a little salty. I also hearing judges did not score us correctly in one category too. Hard to hear

On a positive note, I suggest watching Stingrays Peach, day 2. Absolutely incredible. The crowd was going wild if you were there.

Yeah I watched them on the live stream and couldn't figure out why youth elite's performance (before they actually went on) was being hyped all over Twitter and then when they performed nothing happened that seemed out of the ordinary. I'm curious as to what the plan was and why it didn't actually happen!

I have to say from a coaching standpoint UCA was extremely well run. Every worker went out of their way to be so helpful and all of the varsity staff was amazing. we had some crossover issues with kids having to get to different venues & they did everything they could to make it work & keep it less stressful for the coaches.
Also have to mention - was so proud of our coed 5 for getting paid too!

I have to say as a spectator...wow the difference between UCA and NCA is amazing!! Granted that UCA is no where nearly as big and it is Disney World after all...but the clean bathrooms, the nice workers, the clean venues, the availability of food...I just thought everything about it was so much better than NCA. I really hope the folks in Dallas learn something and up their game for next year....

I know our coaches were happy with UCA, too. I am positive we will be back next year and pretty sure back at Cheersport, too. Wonder if we can skip the 1700 to Dallas. Doubtful, and I am sure I will be right there scraping everything together, too, to make it happen, but today I would be okay if we skipped NCA. Like the comp, but we had not gone to Cheersport or UCA last year and they were both very good comps. When the kids work so hard and the team meshes so well, you want to keep giving to them, you want the dream for them and you keep trying to make it work but today......

I know one of you coaches that were posting in this thread was taking a J3 team to UCA. My CP was in small J3 Division 1. All of the teams in the division were good but I didn't meet or see anyone from FB at UCA. My avatar pic is about a three-year old pic, so our uniforms are different now.
