My old school did this but they got a new principal and it got banned because he considered it to be slavery.

They did this back in the dark ages when I was in high school too.....except it was upperclass men renting underclass men. Some kids abused it, turned it into an opportunity to haze and got them drunk in school. So they did away with it, and also banned water bottles from school.

What are some unique ways that your team has come up with to raise money? We all know about car washes, etc. - what are some of out-of-the-box ideas that have worked?

CA is trying something different for it's international coed team. They are auctioning off one of their NCA Jackets that has been customized.

I am curious if anyone else has had success with anything that we may not have thought of yet.

That jacket is a greattttt idea. I'm sure many cheerleaders out there will want it. I know Top Gun also sells old uniforms.
That's probably only a good idea for well known gyms though.

We made bows (the moms) and sold them in the gym and also infront of a local business. We made about $700 over the course of a few weeks seliing $5-$8 bows! (:

The IO6 team from my gym did fundraisers at local restaurants and also sold headbands. Good luck! (:
