College USA Cheer Announces an NCAA Emerging Sport Initiative

I think this is HUGE for the competitive cheer world, title IX, college cheer, and a legit way to develop cheer as an NCAA recognized sport. Looks like THIS group is getting it right...

This is NOT the same group that recently teamed up with USA gymnastics with only 6 schools... This seems SO MUCH MORE organized and well thought out! Just my opinion... what are your thoughts?!

Just realized this discussion is already going on in the "ALLSTAR" forum... Firgured it should get some play in the "COLLEGE" forum...

It would probably be best to keep the discussion in one thread regardless of if it remains in Allstar or gets moved to College.

I don't care what forum its in honestly... I meant it should get some play in here b/c I didn't see it being discussed anywhere else on the fierceboard until after I'd already posted it in the College forum.
