What Are Shimmys?

Can someone explain to me what shimmys are? I have one and I'm really confused about how I got it/what it means :confused:

Getting a shimmy on the fierceboard is like someone liking a post you made on facebook. It's essentially the same thing, people generally shimmy posts if they agree with it, found it funny or helpful, etc. :)

Yes, when you reach a certain number of shimmys you earn trophy points and the caption under your username changes :)
