i now have to wear varsity shoes
Alexis Dayton said:Would you please PM me your thoughts on the Varsity Inspire (which I think is what you're referring to)? I don't wish to hijack the thread.
first year of cheer i had converse cheer shoes. i hated them because they felt so heavy! very hard to tumble and jump in! they were ok for stunting though. but they were pretty comfortable.
my second year i had kaepa shoes. i really did not like those either! they weren't very light, and they were so ugly! they made everyone's feet look fat? and they weren't very good for stunting either.
now i have the varsity inspire. i like them pretty well so far. they are super light- almost like nfinitys, but they have more support for your feet whereas nfinitys are so flat. they run a little big so if you're between sizes i would order a size smaller. they are good for stunting too - it's easier to grip the flyer's foot and they don't make that many 'marks' on the bases hands in baskets.
I would say probably just a half size smaller. I usually wear and 8 and got a 7.5 and it was fine. You said to order a size smaller. I take that to be a full size smaller and not a half size smaller. For example if I was a 6.5 then I would order a 5.5? Thanks
