All-Star What Did You Wear...

My first competition we wore uniforms and they were awful! So stiff and hot! The uniform top could stand up on the ground and still hold its shape! Uniform tops have come along way! Also lots of glitter!

The next season we got new uniforms and since they weren't in in time our first competition was in a practice tshirt, black shorts and a bow.

When I was on an open team we always wore Tshirts or sports bras and shorts.

It's not uncommon to see teams wear bras and shorts, especially at the beginning of the season.

I've seen plenty of teams in sports bras/ tanks/ shorts, for various reasons. It's all fine as long as parts are covered up.

What matters more than what you wear on the floor is what you actually DO on the floor.

My daughter wore a rec uniform...like long sleeve body suit with polyester shell overtop (it was an Allstar program) her first year that we actually glued rhinestones onto for bling about half way through the year. That tells you just how uneducated we were in Allstar when she started.

My first competition was February 28th, 2010. Hahah don't ask me how I remember that. I was on a half year all star team, we wore black turtleneck bodyliners, full tops and those high waisted skirts, similar to a school uniform
