Games are a great way to warm up athletes and get them working as a team.

I want to create an inventory of games to have on hand this season to allow for fun and team bonding.

Can you help me make a list?

The girls really enjoyed "Coach says" which was Simon Says but with cheer moves. Like "Coach says... do an upper V", "Coach says do a toe touch" just like traditional Simon Says. The winners were rewarded with candy, but that's not always necessary.

Choreography contest. Splitting up into groups and telling kids to make a jump sequence with some type of element, and maybe a stunt, or a dance sequence, etcetera. It's a lot of fun and it really helps you work together.
