I got my ASN back in December and am back in school now to get my BSN. All the hospitals here now are Magnet status so they are only hiring BSN level nurses now.
My mom is in the middle of the same thing! She worked for about 18 years with an ASN and is now completing online courses for her BSN. She's safe in her job now but if she ever wanted to look around again her options were so limited without a BSN at this point it was best to go ahead and do it.

Currently in my second year of getting my BA is psychology with a minor is sociology . Would absolutely love to speak with anyone who has a degree in psych, where they went with it/what degrees they got afterwards, or what type of work they're in now!
I have an MA in Sport Psychology and work as a mental toughness trainer with cheerleaders, gymnasts, and other athletes. Message me if you have questions!

I'm a senior in high school so this doesn't really belong here, (everyone tells me I'll change my mind at least 100 times before I graduate) but for a while now I've wanted to get a degree in biology, go to medical school, and be a Geriatrician! Long shot? Maybe. But definitely something I'm passionate about.
i'm a senior in hs, too haha but i plan to major in economics and then go to business school and get my mba

Undergrad #2- B.S. in Athletic Training (secondary education minor) from High Point University

Graduate- M.A. in Exercise & Sport Science from UNC Chapel Hill, once again #goheels

What I tell my students all the time: "Why did I go to school for so long? College is too fun to just STOP going!"

If it didn't cost so much, I would probably go to school for the rest of my life. Not even kidding. Just probably not something as intense as what I'm going through now, I don't know if I'd want to go through it again lol.

Half way through my 2nd year of Sports and Exercise Bsc!

My course is "leading to named routes" though so after this year we pick a specialist route to study further for our 3rd and 4th years - i.e sports psychology, health and nutrition, strength and conditioning. Not a clue what I want to pick yet, eep!

@marissa.d you applying to Scotland, UK? That's where I'm from :) What uni you looking at?

I'm planning to apply to Robert Gordon, Glasgow Caledonian, Leeds Beckett, Manchester Metropolitan, and Queen Margaret U! I'm actually applying to more UK schools than Canadian, my first choice is to go over there!

I might be biased but Man Met is a great uni in a fantastic city!

Aw not the one I'm at! I have friends at Robert Gordon and Glasgow Caledonian (although if you go there get used to them being called RGU and Glasgow Cali ;) haha!) and they love it there!
Glasgow and Aberdeen are lovely cities!

I am a sophomore currently majoring in Finance but eventually will pursue a Masters in Healthcare Administration (once my school starts the program), and possibly a Law degree
