I'm so confused about all of this. I'm definatly going this year but it will probably be the last year I go. My main questions are: If we have to buy tickets by session, can I buy all the sessions I want at one time or do I have to keep going back and buying the tickets after each session? And are they clearing the whole milkhouse out after each session or are they just gonna go around and check tickets? I'm really upset. I just want to go and enjoy the competition and they're making it so hard.

A few points for everyone:
#1. The USASF will be clearing out the milk house after each session.
#2. Having separate tickets for each session will help with severe overcrowding. (Meaning some people will not be able to camp out for 12-14 hours)
#3. EVERYONE (here on FB, at worlds, etc) was raising cain because of overcrowding. So, the USASF listened and made changes.
#4. Having sessions will help those that really NEED to see the competition, and that is the parents. Remember the long line of Sm sr and Lg Coed parents that could not get in to the Milk House last year bc the Lg Sr fans would not leave.
#5. USASF HAS A CONTRACT WITH DISNEY! Yes I'm yelling.
#6. Lastly, sometimes there needs to be some barriers of entry. Sometimes you just can't afford to do everything you want.

So can you answer if the park hopper doesn't matter for Monday? Especially--will athletes have to buy tickets as well as the park hopper/usasf package to see 1. the other teams in their division, 2. other teams from their program, or/and 3. any of the final sessions? No one has truly answered that yet...just speculation.

Perhaps they should start with limiting the amount of athletes. Paying customers first, and athletes can support their teams. It's sad it has to come to this, but families should not have to leave siblings home because of the high cost.

They shouldn't give out so many bids....200+ bids is just to much!!!
Around 100 bids would be perfect. That means less people compete and less parents. And there would still be free seats in the milk house....
And for the end...worlds would really be BEST of the BEST

What would you suggest they do with teams who came on an at-large bid and did not get out of prelims? Would you then not allow them in to watch the semis and finals because they are not a "paying customer"? Personally above everything else I hope to see that they've modified things this year so that the parents of the athletes competing aren't worried about not getting in to see their kids compete. To me everyone else is secondary.

If anyone wants to be a spectator for Worlds 2014, I'll have a dorm you can stay at! Doesn't help this year but keep that in mind Fiercers :D

Last year I had friends who had to get their kids ready to perform and then get them where they needed to be but by the time they got to the venue and through the line they did not get a decent even viewable seat if they even got a seat to see their kid perform. I watched by standing and I got there before they did. My friends who got to watch for example Top Gun Large Coed were not even from Top Gun and they got there first thing in the morning and camped out all day.
So, this seems like a good compromise. they should know how many people can fit in the milkhouse so there is only so many tickets they can sell. If they are organized and do it by session it will avoid fire hazards, etc....
People should be encouraged to buy tickets in advance. I drove up like most floridians do and waited but I think that is part of the problem. Would you do that for a Justin Bieber concert?

That was my point. There are a lot of athletes taking up seats and parents (paying customers) are worried about getting in. If you don't buy tickets as soon as they become available, do you run the risk of not seeing your child if they make it. Large Co-ed and Lrg All Girl will be hot tickets.
