My old programme has a team called Saffron and they had a Spice Girls themed routine in their first year which was really easy to tell because of their music. Maybe if the music rule didn't exist then Ice Queens could have incorporated the theme into more than just their VOs and it would have been a bit more obvious?

I do love the idea of the outfits though!

Man. If you're XS, make sure your technique is amazing. Every little toe point, bobble, crossed ankle. We see it. That division hides NOTHING.

Were Spice Girls not all that big in the US? I figured it out from ginger right at the beginning the first time I saw it. Though I'm brought up with Spice Girls being IT.
