It's the scoresheet. Varsity caps difficulty. You have to do XYZ to max out on Varsity which all of these teams do, so then it just comes down to execution. Worlds doesn't do that, which is why there is a bigger difference in scores.
Yeah the really large top ends mean there is a much clearer separation between everyone. The bad news is because of such large separation IDK how much movement we will see from day 1 to 2 to 3.
I don't know - i think we might see some in the 3 day divisions not so much in the two day ones. Although I did see a team with 13 points in deductions so if they clean it up they could feasibly move up a couple of spots today for finals.
For the three day divisions, if some of the paid bid teams have less then stellar showings today we could see some at-large teams make it into finals. Especially if they've historically done better on day two of competition. IMHO
Ok this is funny too - the first time I saw this - I didn't even SEE the sneaker! I thought it was someone singing with a head-worn microphone (I see that's her hair now) but it looked liked a head-worn concert mic with her body positioning and all - THEN I saw the sneaker! LOL...Our gym tells us if it flies off DONT TOUCH IT bc its a deduction....if it is accidently kicked or hit it is ok, bc it becomes "part of the floor" when it falls off, but that you cannot physically move it....now I am wondering if that is true...and if it is the same with bows....so funny!
first thing i thought when i saw that picture: coach told all teammembers to bring an extra pair of sneakers and carry them with them at any time
I was always told that if it gets stepped on or kicked, it was a deduction. IDK if moving it is a deduction but if it is I guess she figured one deduction for picking it up was better than 6 people stepping on it and getting 6 deductions.Ok this is funny too - the first time I saw this - I didn't even SEE the sneaker! True! If it is the same to pick up and put in the top as it is to pick up and toss, tossing would be more "comfortable" LOLI was always told that if it gets stepped on or kicked, it was a deduction.
