It was all meant in fun, and supposed to be a play on the "we got spirit yes we do" cheer that everyone used to do.

I gathered that. I still don't like it. I prefer hearing the voiceovers about being a team, family, love etc... not "we're going to beat you because we have more rings"
And before you start with that, I know full well that Black Smack are in no way the only team that has overly cocky voiceovers; there are plenty others too.
