No that is my old gym in NC. Elite Cheer and Dance. I left there in 2009. They are now Rockstar Raleigh.

I thought the Premier gyms had like 9 or 10 lol, I could be way off though.

Yes!! Rams is still hanging in there. I'm not sure what levels they have. I think last year they went up to a Senior 4. They had a Restricted 5 a few years back. One of the moms from Rams is one of my besties and she's still on the boards. Also, CJA acquired or merged (don't know the correct terminology) a team out of Newark - I think it was called Premier, but don't quote me. I think it was Premier because I was confused and thought it was the team out of PA. One more, Liberty All Stars out of Jersey City - there was a spin off team from that group and think it was called Steel or Elite or something like that - not sure if they are still around, but Liberty has a new facility. None of these are Worlds gyms, but just thinking about gyms in this area.

The "Liberty spin-off" is called Steel Force Elite* Haha. They have up to Level 3 and have been quite successful in their existence. =)


There used to be this program that used to go to Clash of the Titans circa '05 and they were something Lightning...? They were purple and black I believe and had a large level 5 team. The choreography was absolutely amazing and they danced to "When Doves Cry". Can't remember the name, but I do miss that routine/team/gym!

Yes that mix is very very old. 2006-2007 I believe.

I was thinking that would be what happens if this rumor is true. Especially for L5 athletes. The only gyms in NOVA I can think of with L5 teams are Cheer Fusion and All Star Legacy.

Sounds like the rumor is true. Heard email went out yesterday that the Chantilly location closing in January. That said they still have the Fairfax space but that is a very small space and it will be hard to run many teams from it. All the best to the athletes and families hoping it can be made to work for the season for them.

My daughter is at CT Chantilly. Only email I received yesterday was a new flyer class added for the month of Jan. Am I missing something???????

Did not get the email myself but heard from multiple people about the email last night. Per that email it was closing the specific location but they were looking for a new space immediately? Hoping all goes well... we have a bunch of friends at CT and my girls were really stressing about their friends last night who were there. CT has some great teams and athletes and always bring it at comps. I assumed that the email was something that went to everyone (which if you are going to send something like that out to a fews it should go out to all) but maybe it only went to a few, which if that was the case was crazy because it certainly spread.
