Hey everyone. The USASF Parent Action Committee (PAC) is putting together a Worlds Insider's Guide to help parents and athlete's prepare for and have a good time while at Worlds. It's not meant to repeat the Worlds Information Packet on the USASF website, but more like tips and tricks that many of us have learned to make it a smoother trip over the years.

We think it would be a great guide for parents and athletes making their first trip, as well as a way for many of us who have been a few times to learn some new tips to from other veterans to improve our experience.

Please post your tips for all to learn from and I'll try to include as many of them as possible in the guide. If you'd like to ask specific questions from other parents, please stop by the Cheer Parents Online message board run by the USASF PAC (it's part of the Fierce Board Network): http://cheerparentsonline.com/forum/index.php

Thanks!

We have some great ideas being provided. Thanks to those who have responded. Keep them coming!

Hey everyone, the Worlds Insider's Guide has been finished and posted. Thanks to everyone who has provided inputs. It was truly an effort by parents, for the parents, athletes, and coaches. Even if you have been before, I am sure there will be tips in here to remind you or add to your Worlds experience.

Please feel free to download and distribute to your teams! Contact members of the USASF Parent Action Committee with comments, or post here on on cheerparentsonline.com

You have to be registered at your forum to download the PDF, FYI. Maybe re-upload it here?

Thanks for pointing that out. Fixed it. You should be able to download now.

Make sure to till us what you think

So happy to see this I waited last year for it to come out and it never did, thanks to everyone who helped put it together. Many people will find it this useful.

Bumpity, bump, bump

I've been trying to get info for Worlds as a spectator but the link doesn't work for me:( is it gone or is it just my computer or is there another spectator guide? Thank you!

CPO has changed a bit and the link might need to be updated.

SharkDad can you help?

I second this. SharkDad can you help? :)

We will be resubmitting the Worlds Insider's Guide, but there are a number of links to fix before we do. Please look for it shortly to be posted in the Parent Section and in this one if kingston lets me.

SharkDad - is the Insider's Guide able to be accessed yet? Do you know the hours for Celebrity Hall for Thursday? I am hoping to purchase the USASF park hopper pass when we arrive Thursday evening. Also, do you know if they will take credit/debit cards for the park hoppers at Celebrity Hall or will I need to have cash? I have emailed USASF and called (keep getting voice mail) but haven't heard back.

Thanks.

We should hope have the Insider's guide will be posted by the end of the week. Sorry about the delay, it seems all of our schedule's are pretty crazy right now either with team practices of our kids or other personal life stuff.

I seem to remember they will take credit cards at Celebrity Hall for merchandise and tickets. I'll try to get confirmation of that.
