Can we please refer to them as Team America... that way they get their own built in theme song.

How hard can it be to make the alternate/substitution rules very clear with no loop holes? That doesn't seem like a hard task.
That is what I have been asking all year. I don't understand why the rule is so fuzzy. It's almost like it was made that way on purpose...hrmmm.
How about you can use subs from where ever and when ever. You are limited to 15% of your competing team to sub with whoever you want (as long as they meet age requirements).
Thats 5 for Large
Thats 4 for International
Thats 3 for Small
I have a question, what if a team has less than the max kids allowed in a division, all year long including the comp where they reveived their bid, but they show up with more kids at Worlds. Is that okay? They really aren't a sub is there any type of check and balance? I'm guessing this would only be an issue with at large teams, because someone would check the paid bids or do they?
I'm okay with that, not that I can actually do anything about it.
We'll call it the kingston rule. Where do all the "small" gyms go to complain that the "big" gyms are raiding all their athletes?
I am not sure there is a practical way to reduce that UNTIL we have a better way of tracking alternates and worlds rosters in general.
That was my guess, but does anyone check? If not, the team picture from the comp would help that situation as well. They are not supposed to compete with more than they had on the floor when they won the bid.
But with your suggestion, why would we even have to track alternates? Other than a number?
I am not sure 'in program' alternates work either. That is something that is too easy to fake.. and for people that, gonna use ACE as an example, have 5 gym programs have a VERY large talent pool to sub from and pull people. I think limiting choices from in gym hurts the little guys more than the big guys.
