I can speak for UA. Dynasty got 4 new girls. They had 20 before so they are large now.

I'll predict the division winners. It will be hard to choose who will get the bids out of these but I think 1 will for sure go to Woodlands Elite Generals. I'll bold who I think the battle between the others will be.

I know colonels have been competing large all girl, all year long. With 21.

Ya, that is pretty smart isn't it? To go from small to large just to not going against Unity? I think the large division is stacked so such a comment is kinda dumb. The fact that Dynasty got many new girls before JamLive and went large after should speak for itself. And the girls that they got to put them into the large division are actual new girls, not crossovers to put them there.

I heard as of last night that they had 6 new girls walk in the door in the past two weeks. I know they practiced for something like 6 hours on Sunday because they had to completely revamp the routine.

But no, no one here is adding girls to get out of the small division. UA truly got a ton of new athletes since Thanksgiving, not just on Dynasty but on many teams.

i say this because as of 11/28 when the original schedule was posted- they were both in the small junior division as of last monday. i never said anything about any team changing a division because of Unity just wondering why those 2 did, thats all.

Most registrations are submitted a month or more before the actual event. The new girls who have joined Dynasty were just worked into the routine within the past couple of weeks. So, when the original registration was submitted, Dynasty was still small. Since then, we've had more athletes join and are now large, so they changed their division to reflect that.

I have two daughters on UA Dynasty. As a small Jr 5, they were full at 20 athletes. When they had some Jr aged L5 athletes express interest in joining the team, they weren't going to turn them away (they'd be fools if they did), SO rather than bump any existing team members off to take the new girls on, they decided to go large. The team is very excited to join the Large Jr 5 division and have been working hard all week getting ready for WSF!

What does Percentage of perfection mean? Does that leave it to their disgression or does it really mean highest scores?

Looking at Varsity's website, that percentage of perfection score is final score (after deductions) divided by the maximum score possible in that level. So, a level 1 team scoring a 47 (out of a possible 55) would have a Percentage of Perfection score of 85%. It makes it so all levels are working out of a score of 100% I guess. Apparently, that's also how the UCA Milwaukee competiton was scored this past weekend too.
