CP has both splits all the way down working oversplits on both legs. However, when her right leg is in front she struggles with keeping her hips in place to essentially not fall out. This proves to be quite upsetting for her when she tries to reach back into the "needle split." At the gym ...
Hey there! My CP is currently working towards her needle and she/we have a few questions about positioning. She's seen a lot of athletes/pictures of flyers holding their air position with straight, locked out arms. CP's on the other hand has bent arms and elbows although her leg is for the most...
Are they considered stunts, even if they are just being held up their by one base (no tossing/flipping)? If not what's it called? Also how many are their, names please so I can goggle photos.
Thanks

Hey Guys,
I'm working on getting my opposite leg needle right now, but am having trouble getting the leg straight. I have my over splits, but for some reason I can't get a nice needle when pulling in the air, or on the ground. I've added a picture of it, to give you an idea of what it's like...
Hey guys,
I'm desperately looking for a video I saw somewhere: The flyer was doing the (I call it) old school (inverted) needle like so (but in a stunt)
But the amazing thing was, that she doubled down out of the stunt.
If anyone knows, where or how to find it, that would be awesome...
Well, I've been stretching for a while to get my needle. I don't cheer anymore, but with the boredom of summer and classes over I wanted a new goal. Anyways, I have it to where when I go into my scorpion, move down my leg and pull up, my leg is straight. However, it looks really awkward because...
I've been so close to my needle for a while now, I just can't seem to get it completely straight. What are some things I should do to get it completely straight?
I currently have a scorpion but it's like a nasty dorito chip looking scorpion. I want a straight scorpion, they look a lot prettier. If I stretch for half an hour everyday for around a month will I be able to get a needle?
I've had my scorpion for a long time and I stretch all the time but I just cant get my knee to lock out in my needle. Do you have any advice on good stretches to try that might make this easier??
I have my left inverted split and my right split is on the ground but not perfect. I really need my spike but when I try to pull it I can't, Its mostly back flexibility so I was wondering what are the best stretches to do for it.. and if I stretch everyday how long will it take for me to get it?
