I think maybe they should leave it to GK. If I were to guess I would say... this is a varsity version because the fit/proportions just some how seem off?? That may be why the white is awkward but in my opinion black would still have been better.

Yep. It's got the "V" right under the E in Pride.

I have an old uniform from baton twirling w/ sleeves just like that. The sleeves are tight at the top and stayed up w/ no problem.

I'm designing a new uniform for next year. I'm REALLY leaning toward a Leo style but I'm worried about a couple of things so maybe you can help:
1. We always have someone that has to pee in warm ups. You'd have to completely strip down, which isn't an easy process that can be done quickly...
2. If we got a snap at the crotch style, people ask me if I worry they'll come undone onstage. We had the kind that snaps when I was high school and never had a problem but we also didn't have nearly the difficulty level these girls do now. I am hoping it would be ok.

Idk, now I'm thinking just attach the skirt to the Leo (I hate dress uniforms though so I'd want it to LOOK like two separate pieces still).

Your thoughts on the Leo? I really want that smooth look for the full top. I hate the bunching regular full tops do now.

I would just do a normal leo and then tell girls to do what swimmers do and just pull the crotch over when you have to pee. All of the swimmers I know do that whenever they have to pee saves a lot of time!

We had snaps on our bodysuits when I was in 8th grade. You couldn't feel them at with spankies and a skirt over them.

When it comes to uniforms im on Varsitys side 100percent. But these mesh tummy unis are tragic.

Hmm....I wonder if this could be considered a full top if they just stuck in some nude mesh?

It wasn't made to get around the loop hole but I was thinking if it had mesh it would have to be. The one coming for my kids has a much small cut out on the side of the tummy and I think we could easily put black mesh behind it (the base colour is black) for the juniors to make it a full top.

Here is Lake Zurich Elite's new cheer uniforms. We are a small gym located in the Chicagoland area. I have to admit that I was a little bummed about the shorts but after our first competition this weekend, I'm kinda loving not seeing the girls pull their skirts down after every tumbling pass :)

They looked nice on the floor at GLCC this weekend.

Thank you! I've been afraid to come back here after all the negative responses. Yikes, some were just plain mean! I need to grow thicker skin, I guess :) I didn't design 'em and never said I loved 'em, but didn't think they were as hideous as everyone else did!

:)Uniforms are the thing we're meanest about (and whether or not people "deserve" to be at Worlds, but we save that til January-ish; you'll be good and toughened up by then). You handled it like a pro!

Just remember everyone has their own opinion on uniforms and are not afraid to let it out. But as long as you, the athletes and the coaches love them then that's all that matters. Your uniforms look super comfy!!

BuegeSmalls I am in the process of designing our new uniforms for next year. I plan on pm'ing you so just a heads up. I want to hear your advice on it all once I have a good idea of the final mock up. I got the first one today--lots of changes to it already lol
