Call me crazy but I think that if a team is gonna win worlds then they should be able to do difficult things in a clean way.

Yeah which a few teams can pull off, but it generally doesn't happen in large coed because of the demand for 11-12 stunts, so I'd rather take clean full ups (which Top Gun is doing) combined with an amazing routine that is more than just an amazing stunt (which seems to be what most top teams are doing this year)

I didn't say that they didn't. I wasn't saying that 9 stunts doesn't score well, or couldn't score well, I'm saying that I don't LIKE seeing 9 stunt groups in large coed. I know I was told I need to work on reading comprehension, but seriously some people on this board might wanna take the advice too. And I say it needs work because they're going against teams that throw more than just a fake full up with 11 groups.
well if your going to say some people need to work on reading comprehension than just say it directly...instead of saying "some people". Just sharing an opinion thats what we do here :)

Fake full up is better than straight up. But I agree, your opinion is valid! I would love to see a team do 11 toss stunts unassisted.
yeah i'd love to see 11 unassisted not saying it can't happen but it's starting to become a tumble fest.
fake full ups are better than straight up stunts depending on how its done and where it lands; but if the flyer is doing a full rotation I still consider it a full up, no matter what the bases are doing.

I just wanted to share this video my friend Kelley G from State All Stars made for Jalil (La la) Sabir he tore his achilles tendon in August and is making a fantastic recovery! The video also includes some material from our international coed 5 teams routine and some tumbling of teammates and friends (he is in the black sneakers).

I think y'all are crazy.... they reach the quantity score with 11 stunts. Majority +1 for a team of 36 would what 7 stunts. they do 9 inversions.... well they do more than that because of the spotted tumbling going into the pyramid. they do 11 dismounts (leveled dismounts). I think there routine is awesome. ACE plays the numbers game well
Hate to be a stickler about mathematics, but:
36 peeps/ 4 peeps per stunt group = 9 stunt groups
Majority + 1 would be 10 stunt groups.

I need help in finding a video that I saw just before the holidays of a flyer's stretch routine (don't know the flyer's name nor the team). Part of the stretch routine was using a doorway which I thought was ingenious. My 12-year daughter who is on a level 3 senior co-ed was just put in the position of flyer and her first competition as a flyer is in 3 weeks. She flew for the very first time their last competition but that was just in the pyramid sequence. She now has to do all of the stunts and is worried about her flexibility. If someone knows what video I am referring to and can provide the link I would greatly appreciate it.

Was it this one?
