I think the Instagram pic (the close up) they used a flash which made the mesh look really weird. I mostly wanted to post that one for the back since you don't get that with the Facebook pic. Also it looks like she just had the top on because it's all lumpy at the bottom...
I forget that most of the time I'm posting over in the PS (see it even sounds cool). Yes about a month ago we left CA, it had nothing to do with the gym or the team. We had some pretty heavy family stuff go down and felt the need to simplify things. I didn't mind the drive but with the turn of events we had it was less stress on the whole family if we moved closer. A couple of cp's teammates from Spirit were at a new gym owned by an ex-Wildcat and he was happy to take her in. So she is at Rival Cheer Academy...we have two teams Mini Navy (mini show) and Senior Silver (a level 2 almost 3 Coed). She is on the Senior Silver team (insert CTR jokes here)....no travel and only one two day Nationals.

i love how they incorporated the x man into the butterfly! definitely like the black skirt better, but having a day1/day2 option is always fun. i know they're using the x-man as a y, but technically it says xouth elite, which i don't love but the back is perfect so it evens out! :p
i'm guessing they don't wear bras on this team? seriously, i'll shut up about bras one day :rolleyes: but while the vast majority of youthies could get away with not needing anything under the uniform i'm sure some do.. and then i don't know how that would work.

This is actually really weird for me to say (seeing as how I'm a very STRONG advocate AGAINST the midriff change), but... I actually think there is a little too much skin showing on this youth uniform. I think the little "off shoulder" concept is just a little too mature. Cute Xman butterfly, but again, a little too much "youth" skin...

please don't shoot me but I'm not loving the youth elite uniform. it just seems impractical for a youth team. and i remember last year Fierce had a similiar style uni for the youth team and everyone was like "ohhh noooo too revealing!!!!" and this one is not that far off. I try not to have bias and love a uniform just because I love a gym. I love CEA but this uni is just not my cup of tea. lol.
