What Spirit has over everybody is execution.
Oddy has been my favorite WC team since...well forever basically. The past few years I have wished they could just step it up a little, but this year I feel they could be an underdog that may surprise A LOT of people if they hit at worlds.
Okay, the thing with Lady Bullets for me (and I'm normally LBOD) is it just looks like they're going through the routine. I get the feeling like "Okay, I'm in the air. I hit my high v on 5, then I fan myself on 8, then when we set for baskets I do a snap." Not to sound cliché because this is the only thing that fits: They're not giving me life. It's boring to watch...
props to the 3rd in the back left for holding that stunt up until the bases got the top's foot.. wow
my problem with this team is that their stunts look AMAZING, but then they get to running tumbling and i find myself praying that one of them dont tear something in their knees :(
although I don't think the last part was entirely necessary I think you're getting the wrong impression. I have nothing against them. just made on observation about running tumbling, specifically. maybe I didn't word it right. I meant in THAT run, there were quite a few doubles that didn't land all the way around, and with the amount of torn ACLs I've seen, that's a strong worry of mine. I can't remember other videos so I guess I shouldn't have said "this team" I should have said "this run". the truth is, there were a few, and those are worth 1.5 marks in deductions at worlds. all I was saying. That video is funny for me. I don't think I've ever seen anyone but the girl doing the roundoff double, and maybe one other, underrotate doubles like that. For the most part everyone who does double doubles really well. Hopefully those last 1/8 twists get in fully for Worlds.
ETA: if you're in the IO5 division, I hope you've been doing a LOT of work at practice, because I think a routine hit like this in finals by GWs would be difficult to beat. We'll see though!

That last performance had zero energy. Maybe even negative energy. I was getting tired just watching them. They made everything, especially tumbling, look like a complete struggle (one flyer in particular...watched you the whole time bbygurl). I don't follow LB very well but was that a somewhat new routine? I know they are a great team so I only hope they bring back that hardcore LB sass for Worlds. Teams are out for blood this year.
not sure where to put this so ill just post this here! =]
