I'm on my phone and I can't watch the live feed. I'll just have to patiently wait for it to be uploaded on youtube again. But I'm surprised they do it really quick..

Hoping Biles almost fall on beam doesn't cost her. Although I would rather see small mistakes now instead of in Rio.

ETA: they girl from Italy ( don't know how to spell name; but first name is a C and last is an F) looks like Rose from Titanic

The smile on Iordache's face was everything, so pleased for her!

Simone and Gabby are so sweet and humble, loved watching them. Huge well done to Simone for that third AA world gold and to Gabby for getting a silver after all that time off!

I'm glad too that Larisa had such a good day and came back up to the top 3 !

And a little off topic, but the French translation is... let's just say creative. Some sentences are so weird, I suspect they had google translate do the work and have a person with a decent accent read it.

I understand why there is a rule for only have a certain number from each country compete for AA, however I wish there wasn't a rule

Do gymnasts typically do the same routines for the team competition, all around, and event finals or do they switch it up at all?

Yes. Back in the day, they used to do compulsory routines, but they ended that after the 96 Olympics I think. Now, an athlete will keep the same routine through prelims, team finals, AA and EF

And usually the same general routine for a season, but upgrade it as the year goes on.

SOOOO happy with the medalists. Literally my ideal podium. I thought it was interesting to note that Gabby outscored Maggie's AA. So perhaps Marta did make the right choice.

Probably the "worst" collective day I've seen from Simone overall (hop and step on vault, nearly off of beam and OOB on floor) and she still won by over a point. That's insane. Gabby will absolutely push her if she can get that amanar back and clean.

If Simone has another semi-sketchy day like that and all the other top gymnasts hit things could get interesting. If she hits and they continue to struggle (looking at you China and Russia) it's hers for the taking in Rio.

It seems USA women always end on floor. They did in the Olympus and so far for qualifications, team finals and AA. Is there a reason for this or just a coincidence??
