Is it easier to do a backhand spring on spring floor or dead mat???

For my girls spring floor was easier, but that was what they were use to. The dead mat was tough on their knees and ankles.
 
I learnt FlicFlac whil doing another sports (mix of gymnastics and cheerleading)... I have learnt doing it on a rolling mat (deadfloor) with standard gym mats underneath for shock absorption - same time it is not that bouncy so you still had to "jump" through your shoulder more.

I have never tried on deadfloor-only cause mentally it just feels hard to handle. On competition I found it usefull not to require assist by a bouncy floor and made me save some energy - was exercising my front flips the same way but had to readjust more on bouncy floor regarding landing.
