Basket Toss Vs. Sponge Toss

I was wondering if sponge tosses gets scored as basket tosses? Specially, for a level 2 team, if they threw a straight ride sponge toss rather than a straight ride basket toss - will it be considered a basket toss? Thanks!

Yes on every major score sheet and from a rules perspective.
