If a team has already received and accepted an AT LARGE bid, can they receive and accept a partial or paid bid at a competition that they go to later on in the season? Just needing a little clarity if anyone can help :)

Yes you can always upgrade.

As tumbleyoda said, you can always upgrade, but that at-large bid goes away if you do. It doesn't get passed down. If a team upgrades from a partial-paid bid to a paid bid, that partial-paid DOES get passed down. Money bids are the only ones that pass down.
