All-Star Can't We Support Another Gym?

There are some comps that have crazy long VIP lines and it becomes impossible to keep everyone from one team together. Then the parents/fans from the smaller gyms (without fear of not getting a seat in VIP) show up last minute and can't get through. I really like the Worlds process where one fan from each team is given a White Board sign held up with the team name on it in front of your group. That way the fans can stay together and someone coming in late can quickly find their group. It keeps things much more organized. Why don't all ep use them?

Is there a priority seating/VIP at NCA?
In the Halls there is a side viewing area for spectators but it's not a great view. I really do wish NCA had priority seating in the front because they have that wide open space in front of the stage. If you want to view your team from the front, you aren't up close and the kids can't hear you.

You are all right the ticketed system will never work!

Next solution competitions can run like NCA arena no VIP area, everyone sits in a seat! Honestly I don't like going in VIP I like the view from further away better.

At ATC in Bellevue a few weeks ago my friend on another team was about to go and me and my teammate went to the "VIP" section and watched. There wasn't anybody in the section though because my friend goes to gym where theres only one team. I felt kind of bad in a way so I was in the front screaming for my friend in all of her stunts/tumbling.
Also, at the competition, when the level 5's/6's started, a lot of people would park themselves in the section, but the security dudes started figuring them out and kicked them out :P
Also, when SE diamonds went on, kids from nearly every program went up to watch. It was actually really fun to have people from other than our program watching, cause we would all freak out together when certain stunts hit. Plus all the people who had never seen the routine would go "DID YOU JUST SEE THAT, SUSIE?!" :D

Yep, my daughter is on Skky J4 and S4. We're a relatively new gym, I think in the 3rd or 4th year? This is my daughter's 2nd year, but she'd done rec comp before that.

I'm pretty sure I saw all of the Skky teams at some point at BATC and they were all so good! Annnnnnd.... I have to put my little mini 1 daughter out of her misery and ask you what the scoop is on the extra "k". It's been making her NUTS ever since DC trying to figure it out, LOL! Does SKKY stand for something? Or is it just spelled with the extra K for fun?

I really don't know the reason! When the gym first started, it was Stellar, but for some reason they had to change. We came in and it was Skky. Maybe Sky was already in use? Maybe it looked too short on the unis? I have no idea. Sorry!

How does NCA handle the bags on seats situation then? That's another issue at comps, seats with bags on them, yet nobody sits in them for entire sessions. God forbid you try to sit in an empty seat, you get your head bitten off by the 1 or 2 moms saving the whole section.

I tried to watch my old team in VIP seating at a comp a couple weeks ago, and someone who was affiliated with whatever program was going after them wouldn't let me by her to go in, trying to tell me "this isn't even one of your teams". She wasn't affiliated with my current program or my previous one, so i'm not sure why she was so concerned about it. After explaining that I was trying to watch the gym and team I was on the previous season, and that those were my old team mates and friends, she finally let me by.

Haha... No problemo, now I can tell her that there's no reason that we know of! :) At least it'll stop her from driving herself nuts wondering. She was obviously a little bored waiting for her checkin time, and was sitting there going, "Maybe it stands for Super Kool Krazy Youngsters... Stylish Kitty Kats, Yup... " LOL!

I sit in priority seating only for my cp and that's because I really don't think that's the best view. I prefer to watch teams from back and up, so I'm kinda looking down on them. Like a judges view I guess. So I almost never get what I think is the best view of my own team because I want my cp to see me there cheering her on. And I cheer the other teams on, cow bells and all, from a better distant view.
