This might sound like a dumb question but do cartwheel fulls count as standing or running tumbling?

Anything that begins with forward motion (even if you don't actually run) is considered running tumbling, no?
Anything that begins with forward motion (even if you don't actually run) is considered running tumbling, no?
This is what the Jam Score sheet says:
Cartwheels and round-offs are now accounted towards standing OR running tumbling based on the entry of the skill.
Standing = Starting in a clearly defined stationary lunge
Running = Starting in a hurdle, steps, run, etc.
They also list a front walkover under standing tumbling.
That's interesting. We've always stepped backwards into standing tumbling but our gymnastics coach who sometimes comes and helps always tried to have us step forward, he thought it was easier? We still step back but... if we were to step forward then do standing bhs tuck or whatever, would that count as running tumbling? These are the definitions from the USASF Glossary:
Running Tumbling: Tumbling that is performed with a running start and/or involves a step or a hurdle (etc,) used to gain momentum as an entry to another skill. Any type of forward momentum/movement prior to execution of the tumbling skill(s) is defined as "running tumbling."
Standing Tumbling: A tumbling skill (series of skills) performed from a standing position without any previous forward momentum. Any number of steps backward prior to execution of tumbling skill(s) is defined as "standing tumbling."
So it sounds as if it can be either depending on the entry to the cartwheel.
