I really expected their next gym to be in Northern Virginia based on current locations they opened and the few gyms in the NOVA area.
Said anyone from DC Metro area lol. I'm born and raised in the DMV, went to school in Arlington. My friends who go to school in the southern VA schools just say they're from DC.
I think a group of experienced cheerleaders can put together a decent performance in 3 weeks time, but how do you have a routine if you don't know how many kids you'll have for the team? It looks like they're expecting enough kids for 2 teams.Wow. First competition in a few weeks. They must have a routine and everything already in place. That was quick.
Yeah I've seen some really awful ones. I get that there's a lot that could have happened at ICE that no one knows about but there are still so many athletes that now have no idea how they're going to compete the rest of the season because half of their teams left the gym overnight. It really puts a bad taste in my mouth and the things I'm seeing make it worse.there's a lot more to this than we know. saw a girl on the team tweet that they've been planning this since summer and they've known about it since then. why would you knowingly join a team to ditch them half way through the season? the tweets I'm seeing are disgusting
the truth in this is soo real.CEA if you wanna enter a market that's not already saturated, feel free to come to the Philly suburbs... it's a cheerleading desert :enjoyshow:
They would probably have to do dead mats either way, since regionals and nationals are on dead. :) There are a few teams around who has some kind of springfloor/panels. I'm not sure we'll do spring on championships ever though, since we still wanna keep the kind of ICU cheer that might be at olympics if we ever get there haha. :)
Both former ICE team names...Dang....they even took the name of one of the teams she coached and a lot of athletes followed her from.
I knew I was forgetting someone, too many teams to keep track of lolDon't forget CEA Shade. They are medium senior too lol

THIS!!!! Cheerleading is a business people, you pay to cheer. Therefore if you are not happy with the product you are receiving, you have every right to take your business elsewhereI think if these ICE athletes aren't happy with ICE why should we hate on them for moving to CEA? I'm not sure why some of them moved, but it's their own personal decision if they want to move or not. They're doing whatever will make them happiest.
I can totally get that. But I will never ever get behind leaving a team midseason, unless there are some serious legal/ethical issues going on. Which I could be wrong, but I kinda doubt is happening in this situation.THIS!!!! Cheerleading is a business people, you pay to cheer.
