For as many of us that are "cheer poor" there are ones that are very much NOT. I have watched parents throw down gold cards for whole seasons up front, buy every shirt/bra/bow a pro shop comes out with, new car(s) at 16...so this doesn't surprise me at all.

What I don't get is why someone already bids so much money? I mean wouldn't you wait until the last half hour or so to get the highest bid?
