I appreciate that they are conscious of the fact that traveling across the country when you have NCA in your backyard is a compete waste of your customer's money.

I couldn't disagree more. We had an absolutely wonderful time in Atlanta. There is plenty of competition in Texas, but traveling to Cheersport allowed us to have a really different experience. Definitely NOT a waste of money.

They attended a competition in Galveston that was offering a "jackpot" prize of $20,000 to the highest overall score. They won and gave the money to Ladykatz, essentially turning their at-large into a paid. That's how I understood it by the posts on Twitter.
The fact that they travelled and took the time to do this for another team in their gym is pretty awesome.

2) They will show everyone in two weeks why they are the best. What's the point in flying across the country when everyone's coming to their backyard in a fortnight?

kingston said something like the host company thing (whatever he gets the website through) took away the option and he was trying to get it back? something like that.
