Not paying isn't the reason for our gym, they have our teams mixed up, we don't have a jr. 1.The email we received said some teams were not fully paid and that's why they weren't listed.

Couldn't pay me to go.
My friend used to judge for them and stopped about 2 years ago bc she felt they were extremely shady and unfair in judging processees, also for 2 days they did not pay well and it got to a point where the frustration and disorganization was not worth the time for the little pay.
I think it's an economical way to get your teams out on the floor and "practice" so when you get to the big ones you have a few places you can go to get in practice round or just keep your competition ready attitude through the season. I also think it is a good first round and true, easy and lower pressure for the worlds bids.
Half the benefit of those 'practice' competitions is being able to get judge feedback which is sounds like isn't too great from this comp.

Does anyone know if they even bother to look at crossovers? We have a ton of youth/junior crossovers, same with senior 3/5....and they compete super close to each other. I can see with a really large comp not having much choice....they told our coaches they would work it out during warm up times.
I've been through this with them every year. And prepare yourself for a headache in warm ups. You will go in and no one will know what you are talking about and play dumb. The out come has been different every time but its a stressful road getting there. GOOD LUCK!!!Does anyone know if they even bother to look at crossovers? They have done this for my kids that were driving from taking the SATs. But I think we were penalize for it. We scored badly after hitting a good routine. The very next day we performed the same routine, at the same venue, with the same judges and same company and their was a huge difference in scoring and placement.I will say with all the negatives I have to say about this company they were pretty good when it came to this topic. They let my Senior 3 compete out of division last year, at the end after individuals because we had to wait for 5 kids to travel from a school competition in North Carolina.

Almost threw up.Cheer Tech comps suck!!! Last year at our old gym, we competed Thanksgiving weekend and one of our girls threw-up on the mat. Some of our older guys helped the creepy owner set-up the next week at another one of his comps only to roll the mat back out with throw-up still on it! $20 a day is a waste! Glad that our new gym isn't attending any of their comps.
Basicallycongratz to fab 5 and cja for their full paid bids this weekend
