I think she used very interesting phrasing, I wonder if we might see her again somewhere this season
That's what I'm thinking

So you are saying she is staying in cheer and will be replacing someone on a different team?Or she has no interest in causing any waves, ill feeling, nor a focus or worry about people getting switched around right before NCA - perhaps she's not announcing to spare added pressure on athletes to perform (because of this risk of their spot being in jeopardy because of a newcomer)
Think about what it would mean if she was coming to your daughters team, and it was your daughter whose spot was being evaluated, would you want her carrying that weight, pressure, and responsibility into a major competition? I know I wouldnt...

Cheer Dad = broke dad
I think the Cali family has handled things very well.Exactly, Jenee (and her family - own and CA family) have handled this is the best and most mature way possible.
I definitely didn't read it the same way as you did so guessing you may know more than you want or can admit. My thought as well is if you want to avoid drama for others you don't do a media release the week before NCA or you say something to the effects of not knowing plans for remainder of season. Doesn't help that mom is shimmying posts of people talking like she wants them too.I have read her post to say, that this is likely a temporary transition. I also read to to say she like everyone else has worked hard all year to be at Worlds & I further read that she thanked everyone who is making sure her hard work didn't go to waste.
It's all there - I think however, you're hung up on the who, what, where? And as far as that aspect is concerned I whole heartedly support not saying anything until the appropriate time for reasons listed in my first post to you.

Fair enough. Guess when your child hits the same level we'll see if your perspective changes. To each their own, I guess I find the handling of this by ALL parties on the up & up.
I guess we'll have to wait until your athlete has found notoriety, and a YouTube show with tens of thousands of views weekly to determine just how you will handle your situation.
Thank you for your thoughts, and take care.
Sounds like another team at Cali will be welcoming her with open arms. Quite honestly, I only care because I'm nosy.I'm going to break my self-imposed silence on this subject to just say, this situation isn't about gym hopping. I'm only speaking out because I don't think Jenee would deserve a reputation as a "gym hopper." :)
She may not, but like 12step said if this was an unknown cheerleader that's exactly what she would be called. That's my confusion. Oh well, doesn't really effect me. Just shocked at the reaction given the history of beliefs on the board.I'm going to break my self-imposed silence on this subject to just say, this situation isn't about gym hopping.
