Can someone please point me to a negative Tweet from Tannaz? Seriously. Not being argumentative and if I've missed something I'd like to see it.
I believe she was retweeting the stuff and not necessarily the author. I saw some earlier but looks like may be deleted now.

An editor can only twist things so much..they can't take sound clips from a person, form words, then make them sync up with someone's mouth movements. Can they take something and put it out of context? Absolutely, but they can't completely change what someone said. Frankly, being that I follow a lot of cheerleaders on my personal twitter, after worlds I saw quite a few tweets of people who weren't a fan of smoed winning yet again/smoed essentially blowing up twitter. I think the show has run it's course, for smoed at least. At this point I think it's hurting them, not only the individual athletes but the team reputation as a whole. Of course a worlds three-peat is incredible and speaks volumes but..the whole show thing has become too much, they're trying to stir up drama at this point and AwesomenessTV is mostly to blame.

I know it's wrong to judge a program based on the behavior of a few athletes but after the worlds 2013 aces incident I lost a lot of respect for Cali as a whole... Which is sad because their routine was one of my favorites that year. It's hard to respect a program when they clearly have no social media policies, or just don't follow through with them.
But you didn't lose any respect for the others from another program who were going back & forth with them? I remember someone saying that the rain falling was the tears from aces losing. But that's all sooo long ago!

They should just start following Lady Bullets. I like smoed, but I want to see another team. Partly so this whole situation (if you want to call it that) can die down.

So you think the current drama is solely a smoed team thing and not a gym thing?

I don't understand what tweet everyone's talking about. I'm always so bad at guessing what people are talking about when they beat around the bush discussing a certain tweet/person/program/event. I feel really stupid. Anyone wanna PM me? Or maybe just flat out say it? :p

Anyways, certain people on Smoed have shown their true colors over and over on social media when things happen or people leave. First Jenee's leaving and now this. I hate judging an entire program on individuals but it's hard not to sometimes. Deep down I know not everyone on the team or involved with Cali are like that but athletes represent the program. Coaches represent the program. The owner represents their program. So be careful what you say because it will come back to your program.

See this is why I admire certain programs like Rays. They are so classy and I never see a subtweet/negative posting/whatever from an athlete, parent, or coach. Some programs restore my faith that there are still classy programs out there who are installing great values and manners in children and take downfalls in stride. Rays, keep doing what you're doing. I love you. Things like that do not go unnoticed! I can't even begin to say how much I respect your program. I'd also throw woodlands in there, too. Probably T&S too. I love you all.
I guess I need a PM overview too.

Or maybe, we clearly just follow the RIGHT people on twitter...and by 'follow the right people' I mean I follow maybe Rays/Cheer Athletics program twitter and that's it. :D The rest are friends/people in the acting industry that I network with lol

as far as teams "trash talking" so to speak after worlds, that i can expect to happen... its been happening in large senior for awhile now, so thats nothing new.
but for individuals calling out past teammates, or coaches for that matter putting down individuals on their own team is just wrong and disrespectful on so many levels.
i dont care about editing, or if they tried to specifically ask orby a question to get that kind of response. you are an adult, you set the example for the team, and by saying those things out loud it gives the whole team, and alumni for that matter, to go around thinking its ok to bad mouth former athletes.
i mean he straight out said "from the very beginning, i knew he wasnt going to make it to the end" using his name and everything. i dont get how that sentence can be manipulated. :banghead: and im done.... :cookie:

I wasn't talking about the Twitter nonsense.
I was meaning this whole love/hate obsession with smoed & the show as the situation.
And There's probably some sort of drama with most teams, not just Cali, gyms everywhere.
I just want them to follow lady bullets, because I honestly care to see more about them rather than smoed. Love the team, but there's only so many forced conversations & people talking about hard practices I can watch. Haha

Not that you asked me but we aren't experiencing any gym-wide drama at our location. Not sure what happened or might be happening with Smoed because my cp isn't on the team but we're just like every other gym right now, getting ready for the season and working hard.

The athletes and coaches need to grow up if they think this behavior is acceptable. It's now happened more times than I can count and it's ridiculous that a high caliber team that should be role models for the sport are feeding into all this drama and BS! I don't care what happened and who was right or wrong I would remove athletes from the program if they caused a big scene on social media. There is no need for it, it is like the team/coaches are incapable of taking the high road in any situation. The cheer world doesn't need to know every time you are hurt, betrayed, shocked etc (which seems to be way too often) I've always loved their routines but this is just not a good look for the sport!

I've said this somewhere but I'll say it here for those who may not have saw it.

After NCA 2013 two of our teams that won 1st beat out 2 cali teams giving them second.

A girl from each team took to Twitter to bash us because we should not have won according to them.

Annoyed as I was I screenshot it and posted it on my facebook. Just talking about what world class athletes those girls were (looking back I shouldn't have done that) ... Ahh anyways some cali people saw it and put me in touch with Tannaz because they were just as disgusted by their own athletes as I was and Tannaz had it removed pretty quickly and also had the girls apologize. She then told me she had them in for a serious talk I think with their parents?? Not sure anyways it was so long ago - I appreciated that she really did appear to be truly sorry for their actions and the girls post on Twitter appeared to reflect that.

I know it's hard to look at that especially after what was said on the episode but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they didn't use to best judgement then but do realize how that comes across! I love Cali still so I'm sure they will learn from the situation!

I'm trying not to, but your owner doesn't seem to be taking the high road either and has allowed all of this nonsense and athlete bashing to happen. I am disappointed. I very much respected Cali as a program, but they messed with kids that I know are good kids and that is on the program.

I don't know that she's letting anything like that happen. How do we know what is or isn't happening between her and other athletes? There are a lot of assumptions going on in this thread.

By no means am I defending any trash talking, btw. I despise that crap.
