because if it's true, it really leaves me questioning the validity of cheersport. Especially since it doesn't seem to be the only strange thing that has happened this weekend.

what else have you found "strange" ?

Just a comment, the move from 4th to 2nd would have mean that they gained a minimum of 7.3 points.

I don't think it will hurt them much because it wasn't an attempted skill. It should just count as an omitted skill which is like 2pts I think.
