Hopefully I can get some good advice here. I am a school Varsity NT performance team that will be competing at an event where there is a team over the legal amount as per open scoring rubric. Should I speak up. I have to say this is quit a large amount over, we are talking almost double the permitted count. I don't want to be THAT coach but I don't want my team to go in already at an unfair disadvantage.

The thing is how are they even on the schedule? Should I just hope the judges call them out even though they were allowed on the schedule?
If they put more than allowed on the floor, then you say something.

My kids HS had a Varsity team with 31 athletes, of which all cheered sideline but, they only competed with 16. Many of the sideline athletes who were not on the competition roster knew, and would practice, the Varsity competition stunts and routine. Is that your concern?

No this team is bringing a large amount on the floor to compete. The max allowed is 30 they have over 45 on the schedule. Meaning this is the amount that will be on mat competing. I know the judges should say something but the fact that the team was even able to register with such a large amount of athletes when the limit is 30. So if they are allowed to register doesn't that mean that they are not penalizing them for the size of the team?
Again I do not want to be THAT coach, but my team has worked very hard and I feel I am letting them down by not pushing for at least a fair playing field.
