Most athletes on international teams do not like full tops, so for one comp the mesh thing works.

Our IO Worlds teams have a cropped top for every other competition and a £6 glitter mesh leotard underneath just for Worlds. They're getting new uniforms this season and the girls nearly all voted to do this again rather than getting full tops.
