Ha! Brings me back. We did this when I was in high school... in 1994.

OP - have you tried single based extensions? You could have 2 kids in a shoulder stand bracing a single based extension. Do a half turn walk in to prep-level lib, step the second foot down, press to extension?
Lol I love knee baskets, so much fun to base! I hadn't heard of them until this summer.

So...I'm down to 5 girls on my squad. I'm trying to come up with creative 5 person stunts that are visually showy, but not necessarily hard. We have a split stunt, 360 to extension w/ twist cradle, and a show n go. Suggestions?
Thanks
How did your team get so small?

Yeah, we did them in 98 for state competition, everyone loved it cause it was unique.
Love the walk in to lib idea!!

Possible pyramid ideas to brainstorm with:

2 base lib with a shoulder stand (lib could be at prep level if needed) :http://31.media.tumblr.com/d4b6a95d5def41ccfc36abb34f7c1b05/tumblr_mkt1ckwnbh1s95undo1_1280.jpg

a "diamond" with the 5th person being the shoulder stand back spot

shoulder stand + shoulder sit (or single based shoulder stand + shoulder sit + person on the end standing to make diagonal)

thigh stand heel stretch + 2 manned prep level heel stretch
(this pic is general idea. change the thigh hitch to a heel with other flyer holding heel. other flyer flies on opposite leg in heel)

@MHSCheercoach My senior year of high school we only had 5 girls, so I feel your pain. There are few stunts that I can remember that we did.
First one we called a "show kick" because it was kinda like a cross between a swedish fall and a show and go. The flyer grabs the main bases shoulders and puts her left leg in an arabesque that the side base grabs at the shin and ankle, dip, then go up to the swedish fall position for a hot second, then instead of going to the ground, the flyer brings her right foot down to the main base and the side base steps in and grabs the left foot to be in a load in, dip, then go to a half/extension/whatever. During this, the backspot helps toss up from the flyers hips/upper thighs, then grabs ankles/rear back in the load.
We also did a lot of half twist cradles, where the flyer would half twist so she is caught by the front spot and the bases and the back just grabs feet, with a back walkover out facing the crowd.
We also did a lib at prep level with a shoulder sit hitch, but what was cool is how we got into it. We had a flyer be the side base, go to a prep, then a base would go underneath the flyer basing, everyone would dip, and the base would stand up so the basing flyer would be in a shoulder sit holding the other flyers foot creating the hitch.
The knee baskets also reminded me of basket-ups. You just load in like a normal basket, but instead of throwing super hard to do a trick, you toss and grab the flyers feet at an extension.
Hope this helps! If you need any clarification of anything, let me know!
