The preteens in Youtube/Instagram comments should be their enemy, those kids are ruthless.

I think the thing with fierce board is sometimes someone makes a statement here as if it's fact (because they assume or presume or just think they "know") Then others take that as "fact" (losing sight that it never was) and expand on it. Suddenly there is this new "truth" that never was ;)

Email is a horrible way to communicate honestly. So much gets sent to spam. I'd rather them text me or reach out on facebook. So much more guaranteed to get seen.

I am sure there is a coach that gets their panties in a wad somewhere, BUT, in general, cheerleading coaches are horribly unprofessional.

Yeah, I can't imagine ever messaging a coach on facebook or texting them. If nothing else, I would first reach out via email and then they're welcome to suggest I text/call/fb message them.

Maybe it is because I see the other side and I just don't deal well with inefficiency.

You just hit it on the head exactly. I see it happen in here all the time.
I supposed it's a byproduct of a message board and the written word. But it sometimes leaves me shaking my head.

Connections allowed people to use rewards points for their hotel stay. If I recall it required that you do some paperwork identifying specifics but it could be accomplished.

Also, I didn't pay up front for my hotel. I secured it with my credit card but didn't pay. At the last minute my plans changed which required a change to my hotel reservation. I wouldn't be there for what would have been my first night. But, I wasn't able to provide the requisite 24hr notice per hotel policy. The hotel changed my reservation with no charge. Oh, and I got the room for $140 less a night than the price indicated by their online reservations site. It sounds like I was lucky this year based on other experiences. However, I was not as fortunate last year and had a lot of issues with StP.

I was able to book my own hotel using points and not using Connections at NCA.
All I had to do was fill out an exemption form saying I was using my points. It was all pretty simple.
Also, at a comp in Fort Worth I did an exemption saying I was staying with family... Again, all pretty simple.
So I have not had any issues with connections... At the two stay to play comps we go to .. I have been able to fill out exemptions and get out of using it.

I am sure it is both, but that tweet and the one about Christmas lights leaves me scratching my head. A lot of pot and kettle going on there [emoji53]

I don't think she owes any of us an explanation. I feel that she said enough. Haven't we all be talking about how much all star has changed, and how expensive it has become? This is bigger than STP and NCA.

I don't think that's what they were referring to, at least that's not how I took it. It's the passive aggressive tweets/posts about Fierce Board. Correct me if I'm wrong.

ETA: If she has a problem with things that are being posted here, why not come on here and say it instead of tweeting about it.
