The post didn't specify so people were asking if it's Nor Cal Power or AZ Power.... She was clarifying that it definitely wasn't Nor Cal...
I just cleared it lol. Stealth is NOT buying AZ all stars I love how people started that rumor just because some of the athletes from Stealth Phoenix coach at AZ allstars (aka me and 2 others) lol.
I think there was only 3 sm sr teams frm Calif. I'm not saying there aren't any, I was agreeing that the competition aspect has gotten smaller.I mean there is still competition in the sm sr division in california.
Victory is still in it, Ca, Pcm, CF, I'm guessing since the split OC will be coming back with one next year. Haven't seen CA Flyers around this year but last year they had one. There was still 8 or 9 teams in the division at spirit sports.
This literally just made my day!!! I'm considering going to UA for college and I have been contemplating how I can still cheer there, cuz driving to Birmingham is too far from Tuscaloosa:p this could be perfect if I end up going there!!!
Dang, with all these mergers and acquasitions:
1. I feel for the small gym owners. :(
2. Will we be turning out "cookie cutter" gyms ala McDonalds/Walmart (McGyms)?
Thinking aloud -
I wonder down the road, how this will impact the growth of the industry. Is there such a thing as getting too big to provide quality training to the average athlete?
Are the San Diego coaches coaching there? Or is there gonna be different coaches?
I was not referring to the small gym that sold out to the mega gym. I am referring to the small gym now having to compete with the mega gym ala Walmart vs local stores. And the cheerleaders at the small gym that are too far geographically to transfer to the mega gym.I feel like a merger or new location is created for a reason by either a mega or small gym. If the need is there and a successful business is to be had I feel sorry for no one. Business is business. If resources provide a better product for a child then I'm all for it. If a small gym can provide the same product they will be equally successful.

First let me say that there are MANY great small gyms! But lets be real, there are more AWFUL small gyms than good ones. I wish this weren't the case, but it is. So many people think that bc they saw bring it on or cheered 20 yrs ago they can run a gym. The fact is running a gym AND running a business takes a lot and isn't as easy as many seem to think. I feel that regardless of size a quality product can be produced. Do I feel bad for a poorly run business closing its doors, no. More often than not a GOOD business stays open, adjustments are made and continue to thrive. If someone leaves a gym (regardless of size) there was a reason. Reduce the reasons for a customer to go elsewhere you increase your business.I was not referring to the small gym that sold out to the mega gym. I am referring to the small gym now having to compete with the mega gym ala Walmart vs local stores. And the cheerleaders at the small gym that are too far geographically to transfer to the mega gym.
Really?! Good to know :) do you know about how long it takes to get there? There are lots of people that have driven from UA to the Birmingham location.
