Just wanna throw this out there. I was an MC at a competition for Cheer Perfection. to EVERYTHING you see is what really happened. I can only imagine what actually happened and how they portrayed it.

You can say all this... but what she displayed to millions of people is very contradictory. I feel sorry that her 15 minutes of fame was worth making a mockery of her family.

just so you know shes " debbie butler " she dosnt need a 15 mins of fame ! Shes already famous ;) and shes a amazing mom .

The quick and dirty on affect/effect. When it's a verb use affect, when a noun use effect. There are a few instances where this doesn't apply, but I'm not sure what they are.

Affect = to influence
Effect= a result

I love listening to people talk bad about a certain person . i wasnt aware that all of us here where perfect mothers ? and i know Debbie very well she is one of the most amazing mothers i have ever met . she has 4 kids and treats every single one the same !!!! Worships all 4 dosnt single one out !

And I had no idea who "Debbie Butler" was until that show. And if she's such a great person why in the world would she allow anyone to portray her like they did? If my wife would have embarrassed my family and my children like that I wouldn't be mad at the producers.... I'd have an issue with her.

Actually, I've met some extremely crazy cheer moms with level headed, logical 10 year olds. I always wondered how the heck that apple fell off that tree. It is possible. The same way very difficult kids come from awesome parents. The world we live in isnt always linear.

you are correct, and it is entirely possible. but when 4/4 of your children have those awesome qualities the odds are pretty high that they've been raised correctly and it wasn't just by chance.

Gotcha. I'm glad for her kids that she isn't the total basket case that she portrayed on the show. Since you seem to know the family so well... Maybe you can warn them that me and a few hundred thousand other people who don't know her and saw the show questioned her parenting abilities. Glad you were here to clear it all up for me. I was given the wrong image after watching 30 minutes of this lady. Now I have seen the light... Keep speaking the truth :)

I mean if you took the time to actually read the whole thread John butler clearly stated before the show even began that the producers wouldn't stop filming until they got the drama they wanted and they couldn't back out due to contract....sometimes just reading should clear up any issues but you know...
