I had heard that there was a plan at one point to go restricted, so that may explain why there aren't many doubles. I do remember being impressed with them that weekend. Large senior is a tough division to try and break into.

I kinda feel like small is even tougher. WAY more teams with lots of amazing tumbling.

I think both divisions are difficult for different reasons. For example, It's "easier" to field a team of 20 girls with level 5 skills than 36 ( and I say easy knowing how hard it is to find 20), but "easier" to hide a non-tumbler on a large team.

true . but large senior isnt easy either haha

Agreed. Maybe I'll re-phrase: Large gets the spotlight. You don't get a "pass" in Large when you're up against SS, SE and F5, because you're a new team. Whereas in Small, you can max stunts, tumble ok and be clean and still not get very far because there are so many awesome teams.

Well, in large, you're guaranteed a day two, and atleast 4th place. BUT, I think they should go small too. I'd rather look my best, and get 20th out of 32852305938 then possibly 4th out of 4 at Worlds.

I agree, but when it comes to business, saying you got 4th is sometimes just what Susies Mom wants to hear. She doesn't know there were only 4 in the division...

Very true I guess, for money purposes...but do you really want a bunch of Susie's and those parents on the level 5 teams? If Susie comes, she'll end up on a lower level, then you have the whining parents to deal with all season, if they don't quit before they start.

No, I wouldn't, but Susie's Mom brings in money. Susie won't be on level 5, so "I" (the fictional owner/coach, whatever) won't really have to deal with her much. I mean, she already knows coming in that our Worlds team(s) get the lion's share, and she probably won't complain much anyway, seeing how badly she wants Susie on level 5. She wouldn't want to hurt her/Susie's chances.
