From my understanding the crown comes off for Moms to wear as a broach during competitions.

It's like "Nothing personal" - a phrase that really means 'What I'm about to say should be taken personally as I'm trying to make insulting you seem legit'. No offense/nothing personal/any other phrases should be taken as pauses in the conversation because whatever is about to follow is more than likely meant to offend/insult/be taken personally. Oddly enough..of course it does......
