I got my full last night and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on making it better? Thanks so much in advance(:

P.S. does anyone know how to rotate a youtube video?

I can't really tell by the video, but it looks like you're piking down? If you want to get a double or a specialty pass out of that full, you're going to want to fix that. Otherwise it looks beautiful!

Yeah that looks really good! Try to keep you chest up on your landing instead of piking/bending over and squeeze your legs together but other than that it's beautiful!

First of all congratulations! The video is a little hard to see but it looks like you are twisting right off the floor. Really work on setting and initiate the lay out, get your feet up before you twist. You should be gaining height in your full not flipping down. Squeeze your feet and push through your toes like you are pushing down on pedals. Doing all of this is going to allow you to one day double.

Good luck and would love to see another video.

Word to the wise most people's tumbling if you slow it down you are going to find plenty of mistakes so don't take it too personally but it is a good way to learn. As coaches we are used to watching skills in real time and correcting them, if possible watch your tumbling frame by frame.

Top video
The entire full is rushed. A lay out is never shown. You are twisting in your set and dropping your left shoulder. My personal pet pev please work on getting your legs together in your bhs and full.

Go back and work on spotting your feet in your lay out and delaying your twist. This going to help you get lift in your flips. I would also go back and work on elongating your double back handspring to get more lift for your flips. Your bhs is piked down.

New video from tonight! Comments??

In the first videos your legs were kind of separated. In the first video, you landed your back handspring with your ankles apart, therefore they were apart in your full. It looked a lot better in the last video, but just make sure after your back handspring you stand up tall with your ankles together every time <3
