All-Star Gabi's New Gym And Team Announcement 7/6/15

Wow, it would be awesome if more people just wished her good luck. All gyms start from something. She may be young, but that doesn't mean she's not capable of being successful. I applaud her for chasing something she wants in life.

Ah, I remember that.

I think that a lot of people are saying what they are saying out of concern, not scorn.

Yeah I remember this past season when they announced E would be coaching and people lost their minds.
While JP did express the wrong way (but really are we surprised) he was spot on. Just because Robert is credentialed doesn't mean all of those kids are. It only takes one fall for things to go sideways real fast.
If I had to chose between Gabi's "gym" or Angel's...I would chose the Rice's all day long. Angel's mother is an Olympic level tumbling coach with connections throughout the industry. Angel is on the USGA power tumbling team and had been coached by some of the biggest names in gymnastics. Not only has she proved herself in cheer but she has also done it at the REAL World level in T&T. Gabi's mom is a cheer mom and nothing more. She can curl some great hair and is obviously willing to drive the country for her kid. Does not mean she or her child are qualified to run a gym. On top of the fact, if you side eye Robert's reaction, Gabi's mom was off the rails. Her Facebook is public.
Psychotic ranting and alluding to "knowing dirt" on someone really doesn't make me want hand you $100.
Right now Bucky is somewhere rolling his eyes at these kids. He's doing it right and these kids should really do some homework. Just because you have a Worlds ring does not make you entitled to your own program. Go out and learn how to COACH from the best, from multiple people! Bucky coached at WC, TG, Spirit, and the CE...before he became on owner.
And I won't even comment on the idea of actually paying a child $100 to "teach" my kid. I can pay for 3 days of CA camp for a little more. I won't even pay a minor to teach my kid private lessons at full rate.

I haven't been on this website in quite a few months. Actually I've pretty much removed myself from any legitimate involvement in cheerleading all together. I came on here, read 4 pages of the Varsity Controls Cheerleading And People Are Actually Still Surprised By That thread and now 5 pages of this I'm Well Known In The Cheerleading Industry Which Means I Can Do Anything thread and have now quickly reminded myself why I've decided to completely remove myself from the joke that has become the "Cheerleading World," or anything that takes place off the mat.
Maybe in another couple of months I'll be bored of Netflix enough to venture back on this website.

Agree some things in All Star Cheer have room for improvement, but there are so many amazing and positive aspects. For my CP and many families I know the positives out way the negatives.

All of the amazing, positive aspects learned in cheer my kid is learning in JO diving with the added benefit of not having to deal with this BS.
Oh and she could actually get a real full ride scholarship. I used to toot that "but my kid is learning so many great things" horn until I realized that those things are taught in every youth activity from Girl Scouts to bowling and I don't have to mortgage my house.

apparently, this jamie parish has been salty towards Gabi for quite some time:

wasn't she 12/13 years old while at trinity? how could a 30-something-year-old person develop resentment towards a 12/13-year-old and still hold that resentment 4/5 years later?? lmao. was he jealous of her flexability? her flyer skills? her needle? lol.

maybe next time he should go up to her dad and tell him, "your daughter is a punkass gymrat." i doubt someone like him will do that... only if its a kid... and over the internet. lol.

He had a vendetta with the Trinity program itself since they offered some of his GA athletes some incentives to leave him and go there. That voiceover trinity used in their mix was a voice clip from his interview with the news over the Johns Creek recruiting Shayla/Angel nonsense. JP has a whole lot of beef in the state of Georgia and she stepped into the middle of it.
