Help With My Double Down

I have been struggling a lot with my double down and would like some tips. I can get a one and a half but i just can crank it all the way. I have also had lessons, even tips from athlets at Top Gun. Nothing seems to be working!
 
Make sure you ride it, then when you pull for your twist pull as hard as you can. But don't whip you head or your shoulders if that makes any sense. It might seem scary to twist fast at first, but the faster you spin the easier it is to get around
 
I was having trouble with them at first also. Also when i was in an elevator i started with my arms in a high v but it helped me to start at a tee. Then before you start to spin, tee to the back then finish the rotation.
 
Make sure your shoulders and hips are spinning as one. Sometimes flyers try to spin in pieces, with their shoulders leading and their hips trailing behind. Pull your shoulders and hips in unison and that should help complete your twist.
