Coach at a mid-sized high school here!

Going into my third year as head coach, and hoping to perfect how I run out tryout process.

How does everyone run theirs? Ideas that failed? That went smoothly?

Not currently coaching but I used a station type model with a week of clinics leading up to it. Evaluated stunting during that clinic week. Then on final day, we (coaching staff) scored all other skills on a rotation of stations (cheer, jumps, dance, tumbling.)
