How To Customize Cheer Shoes!?!?

I competed with cheetah duct tape on my toe this past weekend (it's good luck okay!) I was just hoping my coaches wouldn't notice ;)

thats what i do except i put zebra ducktape on the shoe laces, my coach noticed but she just gave me a dirty look haha ;)

I was wondering the same thing... Any of my coaches I have ever had would probably flip out and have a heart attack before they let me on stage with rhinestones on my shoes... But that's just me

my coaches dont mind as long as the judges cant see it when your competing :)

And every year we went to years we I get new cheer shoes and with the old cheer shoes I would have the team sign the shoes and coaches and put worlds what year and what place.

If everyone is required to wear the same cheer shoes (and I know not all gyms do this) how are you allowed to bling them?

I'm amazed that people are allowed to have unique uniform pieces. If my CP tried that, the coaches would make her either get rid of the "individuality" part or buy new shoes. Mama would NOT be happy to shell out another $90!

we aren't really a big gym so my coaches don't really care as long as it's not seen when preforming ;)

We did that to my shoes one year when I was still with CEA. We used teal, black, and clear hot fix rhinestones and a hot fix tool. The first day of the competition, almost all of them had fallen off. I recommend using some sort of glue instead.

On the bottoms of my evolutions I just wrote "We got the drive for it, we live and die for it" "Strengh, Hope, Determination" "Never give up" "DOn't quIT" "HYS" "2:30"
This helps go unnoticed but still unquie and a lot of girls do it.

My senior5 and senior3 all have stuff on our shoes! Ahhh if I can find the picture I'll post it!

Found it! The back says Be Awesome The shoe laces have the beads 2FWYBI for my SR5 team! The 2 is in the heart though. And the one on the left says Fab4 but it's faded. The ribbon has a blue heart that represents my SR3 team coming together and the 3 rhinestones on it are for it being a 3 team.
